Roxio Game Capture - Product Setup, Settings Guide & Review
Roxio Game Capture - Product Setup, Settings Guide & Review
My review of the Roxio Game Capture system. With a brief look at a guide to settings, for those thinking of getting the roxio game capture and not quite sure. I realise the final output is not HD before anyone says anything, however it does upscale the image nicely, giving the best overall effect you can get for a sub £80 or $100 unit. Full credit goes to www.youtube.com (Nitrammn) for the loading screen animation, to find more great videos please visit and sub his channel! :) While your at it also please like and sub mine if you feel inclined :) SETTINGS: for capture:- Under 'SOURCE'/ OPTIONS / GENERAL' Input: 480P/576P/720P/1080i TV Standard: NTSC_M (this is down to your own set up though, your sellection may well be different, go through each untill you find the correct one for you, until the display look right in the capture window) Under 'SOURCE'/ OPTIONS / AUDIO INPUT' Device: Line (Roxio GAMECAP) Input: Should show as greyed out Then from the capture screen under SETTINGS select AVI (you can choose DivX if you wish, I much prefer AVI for versatility though). Leave the rest of the settings to default. EDIT AND SHARE SETTINGS: Creating a new production leave set to 'widescreen 16:9' Once you have your video clips in place and are ready to create the finalized video use the following... go to 'OUTPUT' in the toolbar and select 'EXPORT as' Save your production if its not already saved (in case of system crash) in the 'MAKE MOVIE' pop-up choose the following: Under ...

Pinnacle 14 HD Dazzle Xbox 360 Capture Settings
Pinnacle 14 HD Dazzle Xbox 360 Capture Settings
I have had a lot of requests asking me to do a tutorial on how to make the Dazzle Platinum or any other Dazzle work. So i have done it for the Pinnicle 14 Studios to make it compatable with Xbox 360 and also PS3. Hopefully This will help you and make you christmas present more usefull! Rate and Subscribe. Dazzle image full size on Youtube Firstly in order to enable your image to be full size when uploading to Youtube you will need to change you television format in 'Widescreen' on the Xbox 360 Dashboard. Once you have done this you will want to ensure that you Dazzle preset capture settings are set to 16:9 and not 4:8. After this once you have captured your image you will need to drag it onto the Pinnacle Studio timeline. Once your image is on this timeline double click the captured image and an editing system will appear on you Pinnacle Studios. Once this editing system has appeared click the 7th option down on the left hand side. Once you have done this you should be able to crop the size of the image and re-size the image to a full screen format. Message me if you have any problems in completing this Still no Imput Signal Firstly ensure that you are not trying to play in HD (anything over 480p) or have the HD setting switched on with your xbox. Also you cannot play through a HDMI cable. Although the dazzle records a HD image it will not let you play and record the HD image at the same time and therefore you need to play in standard definition. Also simply closing down ...

ScreenFlow vs. Camtasia - The Mac Screen Capture Show Down
ScreenFlow vs. Camtasia - The Mac Screen Capture Show Down
READ IMPORTANT!!!!!!!! Camtasia is a new and wonderful app, but does it hang with screenflow? In some ways, yes. In others, No. For one, Camtasia it takes TWICE as long to export. I dont know why but it does. Screenflow also has the advantage of Core Animation (making this a Leopard only application), Quartz Composer and a custom 64-bit ENABLED COMPRESSION SYSTEM, ScreenFlow can capture DVD playback flawless as well as 3-D game playback Camtasia doesnt have quit the control over your size and shape of the video. It scales everything relative to each other where in screenflow i can grab an edge and extend the edge without changing the size of the other edges. In Camtasia if you pull one side it scales the top and bottom also to keep it in skew. This isnt a big deal but to me, who does 100's of screen casts, it is. Ultimately camasia captures better audio and screenflow captures smoother video. Screenflow os less choppy all around but camtasia's transitions, great audio capture, etc make it an option to hard to refuse. It can really spoof up your screencasts with the effects included, So Im torn between super smooth video capture with screenflow and really cool effects and flawless audio capture with camtasia. If your not capturing full motion video but instead are doing tutorials or how to videos than the choppy nature of camtasia well not be seen at all. And you can love it for all its glory. Its totally smooth on everything except full motion video so if all you ever do ...

Standard vs. Widescreen in Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Standard vs. Widescreen in Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Watch it in high quality! Since YouTube has now upgraded to the widescreen format, and since Brawl offers an option to play in widescreen, I decided to capture a few things in widescreen mode, stretch the capture to a widescreen aspect ratio and then see how it turns out. The reason for this is that if I do a History Behind Super Smash Bros. Brawl project, I first wanted to explore my options by seeing how widescreen looked. Based on these results, if do History Behind Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which is very likely, I will use the widescreen format when capturing Brawl. (Though almost all of the games it is based on will be displayed in standard mode.) At any rate, when I was capturing in widescreen for this video, it occurred to me that I could compare a few things between standard and widescreen. But a few things eventually turned into everything that is in this video.

Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition Setup Tutorial + BEST SONY VEGAS QUALITY SETTINGS
PLEASE READ BELOW: Check out Reg HD PVR vs Gaming Edition here: www.youtube.com How to setup the Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition and how to render the BEST possible video for YouTube. *USE VEGAS PRO 9.0C! *Be sure to capture gameplay using the Playstation setting, even if you play on the Xbox. Vegas prefers the m2ts files to mp4. (If you capture using the Xbox setting, you'll only see the top corner of your video when you drop the video into Vegas.) * If you are not seeing gameplay in the preview screen of Archsoft or on your HDTV, be sure you have updated drivers that you have your console set to 720p HD. Updated driver can be found here: www.mediafire.com *You NEED to use component cables and have an HDTV to capture in HD. The only other option is to buy a hdmi to component cable converter... *Lastly, if your final rendered video looks a tad choppy, change the rendering frame rate to 60fps. This will smooth out the video for first person shooting games ie Call of Duty, Battlefield, Halo etc Check out www.youtube.com for regular updates in the Hauppauge world. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow Me on Twitter: www.twitter.com Subscribe to my main channel: www.youtube.com Subscribe To My 2nd Channel: www.youtube.com My Facebook: www.facebook.com

Tascam DR-05 Review With Audio Recording
Tascam DR-05 Review With Audio Recording
www.aibal.com Tascam DR-05 review with audio samples. If you're interested in the Tascam DR-05, you're probably also looking at the Zoom H1. Both devices offer comparable features and are priced similarly at around $100. What I've found with DR-05 is that it offers a superior build quality, button controls, display and software menus. That's a lot of benefits to consider over the Zoom H1. The Zoom H1, on the other hand, is a slimmer and lighter unit that features mics placed in a X/Y arrangement. Is the Tascam DR-05 right for you? Watch my video review to find out, and keep in mind that all the audio in the review (my voice over) has been recorded with the DR05.

[Dazzle] | Recording From Dazzle (DVC100)
Edit: Thanks for the 7k views guys, means a lot! Edit: Wow! 9K views, thank you so much guys, keep the questions coming and I will try to answer them! Edit: Who knew this would hit 14k views? I have a new tutorial in the works as soon as I get my new computer up and running. Stay tuned! A basic tutorial on how I record through my Dazzle over to my laptop with Pinnacle Instant DVD Recorder. You'll need [UPDATED] REAL Player An .iso of Instant DVD Recorder [I recommend using Pinnacle Studio, it much easier to do and it isn't a pain in the ass to use] A .vob to .wmv converter, any will work As I said before, you might just want to use Pinnacle Studio 15. It is much easier to use and a lot more straightforward. I will be making another tutorial. To answer a common question: YOU NEED THE DRIVERS TO RECORD! WITHOUT THESE DRIVERS, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECORD ANYTHING AND WILL RESULT IN THE BLACK SCREEN/NO SIGNAL ERROR! Just google the drivers, you will find them.
